If I Went to...Brooklyn

I'm starting a new recurring post, If I went to...There are so many places in this wonderful world of ours I want to visit someday. Inspired by Bliss's Happy Place posts, I want to start a post to record all of the wonderful nooks & crannies, villas, lofts, cabins, etc. etc. that exist for avid travelers like myself.

With no further ado: If I went to...Brooklyn, I'd love to stay here! Isn't this loft divine? Full of light, fanciful decor, sophistication, and location, location, location - all the gems of NYC at your fingertips!

Beautiful photos! I've visited NYC only once and I want to go back during the summer.

Oh, I adore Brooklyn! On my long weekend runs, I always take note of all the boutiques and restaurants I want to try.

Buttermilk Channel is my favorite place to dine in the entire borough. Their pecan pie ice cream sundae may be the best dessert I've ever tasted.

My husband is partial to the bar at Char No. 4.

Also not to miss in Brooklyn: the Brooklen Flea! (I just blogged about it - http://katenyland.blogspot.com/2010/01/flea-bag.html)

Great idea! I just spent the week after New Year's in Brooklyn. Most of the time I am staying with friends in Manhattan, but this time I went for work, so I got a new experience. I totally loved it. Brooklyn was really wonderful and I could much more see myself living there than right in the city.

This place looks wonderful, I would love to stay in a place like this. I might be going to New York (for the first time) in the summer. So exciting!
