The jumper. Essentially shorts + attached fabric suspenders, marketed as a convenient look that I find reminiscent of skipping hotscotch on the playground - i.e. not a look for adults. However...this little number appeared among others in the Urban Outfitters spring online catalog.I've heard reference of the skort returning (gasp!), and I'm alarmed that the jumper might be following suit. I'm afraid if I ever did indulge in this trend, I would be the clothing twin of at least a handful of my female students. While I might think I was employing a sense of fashion, I have no doubt I'd be fabulously outdone by my 7 & 8-year olds. Who is with me?

Ummm, I would look about 9 in a jumper! Not for the tall and gangly!
