Wedding Countdown Begun!

Ladies and gents, we are just under the 3-month mark on our wedding countdown!! Less than 90 days, eek!!! I can't believe it will be here so fast, where has the time gone?! I've been making major to-do lists for days as my head is swirling with wedding this and wedding that.

Thankfully all of the big things (flowers, dress, food, rehearsal dinner, etc.) have fallen into place, but now it's time to give my attention to all those little details. And if you know me, I'm all about the little details.

Any advice from you veteran brides out there before we enter the "home stretch" of wedding planning?

Congratulations! I'm not married but from the outside the advice I would give is to have fun with it! I'm sure it's a super stressful time but you'll want to look back at the last three months of your engagement and remember how exciting and enjoyable the whole process was, not how crazy it made you!

Yay! I remember things started to feel more real at 3 months out. Pretty soon you'll be sending out those invites and getting RSVPs back. So exciting!

Yay!! My only advise is just to have fun in the home stretch!

three months was a (project-based) freakout point, but list-making helped. the key to surviving the last few days leading up to the wedding was in releasing control and trusting the people who were generous enough to offer time and support (I think it's called finding your wedding zen?). big picture perspective was crucial, because when I said the words "do it however you think looks pretty," or "if that detail doesn't work out, no biggie," I discovered I truly meant it. best wishes and have fun!

breathe baby breathe :) You know, the only day that I was every truly stressed was the day of the rehearsal? It'll all be good -- can't wait to see your beautiful face.
