I'm in the process of cleaning my closet and purging the clothes I no longer wear. As I'm doing this, I'm realizing I'm finding many more "
What was I thinking? Why did I buy this?" items than long lost treasures I simply misplaced. Hmm... You know your clothes are no longer the height of fashion when even the consignment store won't take them! I experienced this over the weekend when I took a heaping load of clothing to
Buffalo Exchange, and walked away with more than half of my items. (Insert sad face here).
Hopefully this clothing "cleanse," will help me make better wardrobe choices in the future. Here's hoping...

I've been much better about this. I purged my clothes and had the same realization. I'm always drawn to the simple clothes in my closet and prefer to spend my money on accessories now! So now I look for the basics and splurge on only a few trendy pieces occasionally.
I hear you.. eff Buffalo Exchange anyways...! they only really give you money for 'designer' stuff... Here's to spending a Saturday morning getting rid of all of your unwanteds on your front lawn and then make a couple extra bucks to put towards some of your current lusts!

I made a boo boo today and bought some Forever 21 pieces today. Why?! I recently did a clothing cleanse too and took my stuff to the same place. They bought 2 things for $16 and I think it's because they both had tags still on them. I need help!
omg...i totally feel the same way about my closet and my clothes. i really need to think about the clothing purchases i make.
I'm constantly editing my wardrobe. It feels good to toss out old clothes and make room for new stuff.
I sooo need to do that too, i just can't face it!
Im planning to do my closet cleaning this month too and get rid of all the items I dont wear and make space for a few new basics:) Have a fantastic day, sweetie
Kisses
Have not we all had those moments?
doesn't it feel great to get rid of old clothes? i feel refreshed and inspired to only buy clothes that i love next time, especially when i notice that most of the items i'm throwing out were impulse buys.
My girlfriend and I host two clothing swaps a year and they are SO much fun. I get rid of everything I don't want and usually walk away with great new stuff! Funny enough, that same friend is moving to Seattle this summer...maybe she'll start the trend up there! ;)
Oh oh! I'm planning on taking some of my clothes to our local Buffalo Exchange soon...now I'm nervous! :) haha!
