My wedding will be a potluck in my backyard. Alex Gorohoff can be the priest since he's legally certified to marry people. I don't even want a wedding cake- just cookies. Fresh baked, just out of the oven- oatmeal raisin, coconut oatmeal chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip, molassas, ginger snaps, peanut butter/hershey kisses cookies.......mmmm.
Wow, money obviously! It's crazy to think all that money would go towards a day for your guests and they only really remember select things that probably didn't cost a lot anyways. I think you can splurge on a few key things that matter to you like maybe a photographer (because those photos will be with you & your family for generations to come) or in my case, the dress :) It still is a special day to celebrate the way you want, but really, 30k is more than enough to have a wedding and a down payment on a home!
