Iceland is definitely not the first place that comes to mind when you think of an exotic vacation. However, it definitely has an unusual appeal. Perhaps the deceiving "ice," in the country's name deterred visitors from seeking out this Mid-Atlantic emerald gem. My grandparents have visited the country twice, and to this day continue to share tales of the lush landscapes, bubbling hot springs, and gorgeous people.It's definitely on my list of must-see destinations.
