Cookbook Crushing

I'm hoping to expand my cooking library in my new house. Somehow the idea of cooking in my very own kitchen inspires a new wave of culinary inspiration. Here are the next few cookbooks I've been eyeballing...

1. Baked: New Frontiers in Baking
2. Hot Sour Salty Sweet - (a culinary journey through Southeast Asia)
3. Martha Stewart's Cupcakes
4. The Ski House Cookbook - (warm weather dishes for cold weather fun)

Any others you might recommend for my cookbook shelf?

mmm... I can't wait to see what you try from Hot Sour Salty Sweet. That sounds delicious! One of my favorites is Martha Stewart's Healthy Quick Cookbook. It is divided into the 4 seasons so there is always something that looks great no matter the weather or your mood!

The Ski House cookbook looks delicious! My mom got me Giada DeLaurentiis Everday Italian for my first apartment and I love it! I use recipies from it all the time.

Thanks for your comment, and I'm just completely smitten with your blog! Especially this post! More than perfumes, cookbooks are the biggest of biggest weaknesses... Must check these out, especially that Ski House one...

And also, have you a Loehmann's in Seattle? (I'm sort of praying that you do, because I've been thinking about moving to Seattle and I adore Loehmann's!) Anyway, that's where I get my Anna Sui perfume, they have tons and tons of deadtsock so I just make sure I have a few spares at all times!

I adore cookbooks! My favorites are my ones from Louisiana that were compiled by church ladies or other ladies organizations. I have the Martha Cupcakes and it is fabulous. I also recommend Martha Cookies and Martha's Baking Handbook if you don't already have those. I like Giada's cookbooks as well.
