Culinary Crush

I think I've said this before, but I take back any previous claims, because this is my dream kitchen, or at least a corner of it. It's just so lovely, the blue cabinet, the old country-kitchen jars and kettles, the fresh flowers in the jug, and the shiny white tile...it's just so pretty.

Sugar and Spice

Something about the new year makes me want to clean house. My "winter cleaning" over my holiday break from school has included cleaning my fridge, vigorous scrubbing my stove top, reorganizing bookshelves, deep-cleaning the bathroom, dusting a plenty, and attempting to organize my desk. I love the look of this clean kitchen workspace, unified with the silver magnetic theme, very clean and simple.
One of my best friends recently moved into her own condo and her sleek metallic fridge boasted a nifty magnetic spice rack, similar to this one below. I loved the concept, and found the design to be oh-so-chic, and convenient, in addition to having a certain aesthetic appeal. Something to keep in mind for my future dream house...image1/stephmodo

Have Your Fill

Who doesn't like filling? Pies, cream puffs, eclairs, basically any fattening dessert, is delicious because of filling. How would you like to add filling to your pancakes at home? The ultimate stocking stuffer, I'll say. William Sonoma's latest great find is the traditional Danish Ebelskiver, maker of light, puffy pancakes filled with jam, curd, fruit or cheese. Mmm.

Imagine the possibilities...

Motivation & Inspiration

Please observe exhibit A - my motivation and inspiration to cook: hunger and cute kitchen ware! I might whip up fresh rhubarb muffins everyday if I had these chirpy measuring spoons!

Two Peas In A Pod

Two peas in a pod...literally. These ceramic salt and pepper shakers are too cute! Sold in individual sets, this would be a lovely accent to a wedding gift for the couple who truly sums up the expression "two peas in a pod."
