Ol' Wobbly

There's something charming about this wobbly bicycle print, affectionately entitled, "Ol' Wobbly." I think this would be the perfect reward for the kiddo that just mastered his or her first two-wheeler.

A Bicycle Built for 3

A few families at my school bike to school on family tandem bikes and I just LOVE that. This European tradition of biking in lieu of car transport is one that seriously needs to be revived in America.

When I have kids, I'd love to be one of those moms that bikes their kids to school. I know this may sound ridiculous in Seattle - especially as a teacher, combining the rain, busy schedules, backpacks, etc...but I do believe it is possible. I'm loving these tandems by Dutch Bike Co. Seattle who imports their styles from Europe. One day I'll pick up one for myself, just you wait and see!

Let's Go For A Bike Ride

For some reason, I can't get enough of bicycle art. Maybe it's because as adults we don't nearly ride our bikes as often as we did as kids.

My sisters and I rode our bikes everywhere growing up. Most of our friends lived within cycling distance, and as not-quite-yet-16-year old's, biking made for the most convenient mode of transportation. We knew all the shortcuts through neighbors yards to each others houses, the neighborhood pool, and of course the ice cream man's regular loop. I'm really enjoying these casual, bicycle note cards.
