I'm really looking forward to movie based upon the fantastic book, The Time Traveler's Wife. I read this book per friend recommendation a few years ago, and was intrigued by this cleverly woven, unique story. Now that I've seen the trailer, I'm happy with the choice of Eric Bana to play the time traveler, Henry DeTamble. He's very close to what I'd pictured when reading this novel...Now, there's no guarantee this book to movie will be any good - but the preview is pretty captivating.

I am SO excited to see this! Though I admit my Henry (while reading) was not quite as good looking. Haha.
Oh I LOVED that book! Definitely looking forward to the movie! Eric Bana will be great as Henry!
I am not sure if it is because I have been feeling so in love lately, or what - but this made me tear up a little.
:)
I haven't read the book, but my guess is that even if the movie sucks, Eric Bana gives you your $10 worth just by looking like that.
Thank you so much for posting this - I loved the book and now I'm really excited. You're totally right about Eric Bana - he's spot on as Henry!
OH SHIT. I freaking loved this book. criend through the whole freaking thing. i LOVED this book. Read it twice and have been waiting a lifetime for the trailer and here you find it. Thank you. I'm re-posting this. I almost cried watching it. I can't wait.
I have been REALLY excited about the film, because I LOVE the book, but having seen the trailer for the first time today I'm a bit worried it's going to be a lot frothier and not as ... harrowing as the book, if you know what I mean? Will still rush out to see it as soon as it comes out though!
I'm so excited! But I'll be honest, I am ambivalent about Bana and McAdams in the lead roles. :(
this is my fav book!! so i'm scared the film will disappoint as i have really high expectations!
This is crazy talk!!! ;) i think Bana and McAdams will do an amazing job!!!! It obviously can't be as intense as the book. That book is filled with sooo many pivotal situations that are key but obviously that can't all those into an hour long movie. I think they will do awesome with what is given and with their acting powers combined ( haaa) will pull out a lot of the heart wrenching joy and sadness that you feel while reading the book.
i will have to hurry and read the book so then I can see the movie.
