BFF's

Last night I had a very detailed and vivid dream that Kate Middleton and I were BFF's. We went shopping together at stylish boutiques in London, she gave me fashion advice, I even went over to Kate & William's for dinner! It was the best dream!!

I didn't quite get the imaginative opportunity ot hash out the details of her royal status, I don't even think I registered she was a queen or princess in the dream, as there were no paparazzi tailing us anywhere...but regardless "dream Kate" was very genuine, down to earth, and super fun to hang out with!

And the funny thing is, I was literally just telling my fiance how I rarely have vivid dreams anymore, and lo and behind, I dream I'm Kate Middleton's BFF the same night! Awesome! The silly thing is, even though it was purely fiction, I feel like I know her now, and like her ever more! Haha.

I was already excited for my own wedding this fall, but my excitement has tripled as I'm even more thrilled now that I chose a lace wedding dress!

Fab Friday

This Friday I'm excited about the Royal Wedding. I wish I had the gusto to stay up all night, but alas, I had to work Friday, and a sleepless teacher does not make a happy teacher! Instead I've DVRing all the coverage. I'm very excited for Kate + Wills, and their royal life together as future King and Queen!

Even more excited to ring in the celebration at a Royal Wedding party this evening. Here's hoping for Pimm's, tea, and chocolate biscuits!

I want this royal wedding tote! It shows the map of the wedding procession for Wills & Kate to Westminister Abbey and back to Buckingham. Maybe if I sported this around town, people might think I had an official invite and this swanky tote was a wedding favor... Hey, a girl can dream, right?

Royal Wedding

The royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William is exactly one month from today! So excited!! I'm planning on watching the wedding, well, maybe not at 4AM which is when it will be debuting Pacific Time. But most likely DVRing and watching at a more reasonable hour.

I'm curious - are you planning on watching the royal nuptials? Solo? In style with your girlfriends while speaking in British accents? I'm leaning toward the second...of course, while cheers-ing along with Kiss Me Kate beer in honor of our future princess!

Are you getting ready for the royal wedding? I know I am! We are just under a month away from the April 29th nuptials. And apparently, Prince William/Kate Middleton memorabilia is all the rage now in England! My fave is this Kiss Me Kate beer, which is quickly becoming my unofficial beverage of choice to consume while watching the royal wedding! "Kiss Me Kate," is said to be a "pale beer that is elegant, tasteful, and British to the core." How perfect! I'm kind of smitten with the label itself. Cheers Kate & Wills!

Royal Reading

In preparation for the royal wedding, which is just around the corner on April 29, 2011, I've been doing a little light reading on the royal couple. Recommended to me by my friend Carol, I've been indulging in William and Kate: A Royal Love Story. Normally, I'm not one for historical biographies but since I'm looking forward to watching this historic wedding on TV, I'm brushing up on the royal couple.

P.S. Did I tell you this fun fact? My parents got married the year Princess Diana and Prince Charles got married...And I'm getting married the year of Prince William and Kate Middleton. What an exciting milestone for us to share!
