Google Reader No More

Have you heard?  Google Reader is retiring!
My first reaction was WHAT?!?! What am I going to do now?  I have countless blogs in my Google reader feed.  It's unbelievably convenient, efficient, and I love having the option to preview a post within reader rather than having to click every post open for comment.

So...what's up next?  I've been hearing about a few alternatives on other blogs, including feedly and bloglovin', but I haven't done my research yet to know which is best.

What are your thoughts?  Where are you storing your blog shortcuts next?

  2. I have been playing around with Feedly. I like the iPhone/iPod app. It's pretty.

I have read more posts in the last couple of days using the Feedly app (and the web version) than I have in the last few weeks or even months using Reader.

  3. I am totally bummed too! I'm going to have Nick help me out to figure out how to transfer all the blogs I follow to somewhere else. I'm hoping they decide to change their mind by July 1!

  4. Sounds like you can import all your blogs directly to Bloglovin once you sign up ... Might be the easiest of options!

    1. With Feedly you just need to login using your Google login info and everything imports automatically. :-)

  5. I use the feed on the blogger dashboard but I'm not sure if that's going away, too?
