What's on Your Workout Playlist?

I love a good playlist.  What I love even more?  A playlist so invigorating, so captivating song after song, that I can listen to it in its entirety without skipping a single song.  However, the challenging piece is, I'm not a huge music buff.  I'm that girl who can sing along decently to the chorus of top 40, but rarely do I know the name of the song or artist off the top of my head.

So I need your help... I need some suggestions as my workout playlist is slightly underwhelming.  I'm looking for fast-pace, high-energy songs.

  1. Lots of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry! I'm guilty of rarely updating my playlist very frequently. I think I'm ready for some new songs too.

  3. Florence and The Machine. Florence's voice is so powerful and I feel like it gives me energy when I'm running!

  4. speaking of FUN "we are young" ....i did an awfully hard up hill run this week and the only reason I made it to the top without stopping was because of this song! i second the feeling of it making you want to change the world ;).... I also enjoy running to anything by mumford and sons.

  5. Can't think of any off the top of my head- I've been listening to non-stop country recently.

I listen to 8tracks.com a lot for song inspirations :)

  9. So funny, I've been meaning to do the same post! I'm still working on perfecting my perfect playlist for running, but I really love to work out to Kanye, Britney and David Guetta. I love all kinds of music, but when working out I find only fast-tempo music will do!

  10. Kelly Clarkson's Stronger. Always gets me to the top of a hill!

Eminem - Lose Yourself, as well.
