Overnight Oats

I've joined the overnight oats bandwagon thanks to Hayley of Simply Scrumptious. Being able to fix myself a decent breakfast in the mornings before leaving for work it always a challenge. The beauty of this dish is that you make it the night before and it's good to go in the morning. I made my overnight oats with oats, sliced bananas, chia seeds, and topped off with almond milk. Pop it in the fridge overnight and boom breakfast!

  2. Yum, been meaning to do this for a while now, ever since it has got warmer and lighter, much more appropriate for spring than porridge!

  5. I like that you can add so many different toppings! My favorites are dried cranberries and almonds.

If you want to change it up a bit in the morning but still keep the convenience here is a link to a great healthy smoothie recipe you make the night before. Blend and go! Perfect for warm weather (if only it would get warm in Portland!).
