The snow fell plentifully last night in Seattle. Despite the snow, we did have school yesterday, and my students were (as you can imagine) quite distracted by the steady stream of flurries floating down all morning and afternoon. Luckily, I beat the traffic home, and cranked up the heat in my cozy house and watched the flakes continue to fall.
Today, I'm curled up on the couch with my cat Jenga, watching
Love Actually, sipping pumpkin spice tea, and working on report cards. No cabin fever yet...
Is there snow where you are?

ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely little day :) No snow for us at all yet but they're calling for it tomorrow. I'm not jealous because I know it will be heading to us in Chicago over and over and over again until at least April!
ReplyDeleteSnow!! I kinda miss snow... But no, there is never snow in my area of Japan. I definitely don't miss those long Canadian winters, but I'd love to watch snowflakes fall... sigh.
ReplyDeleteIn Indonesia? no snow here... :(
ReplyDeleteman i wish we had something like that where we might get a day off! hope it keeps snowing so you get some days off!
ReplyDeleteYes, we've had our first snowfallof the season here in the north east of England. It's not usually this early, though. It always amazes me how quickly everything grinds to a halt in these parts after a modest layer of snow. Took me two hours to travel 8 miles this morning!
