Booked!
It's official - the bf and I are heading to New Orleans, Louisiana for a long weekend in January! I've never been, but heard nothing but fabulous things! Can't wait for a romantic getaway. Any recommendations on places to go while in town??
New Orleans is the best! Adolfos Restaurant is our absolute favorite, it's a cozy little place worth checking out. Also, try to see the Rebirth brass band if you can catch a show!
Ab-so-lutely agree with LH's Adolfo's recommendation. After dinner there, listen to some music anywhere on Frenchman's, and get dessert at Cafe du Monde on the way back to the French Quarter (the crowds are non-existent in the evening, so it's a lot easier to enjoy your beignet!)
You are going to fall in love with New Orleans!! You must visit the French Market, Cafe Du Monde, and all of the little shops on Magazine Street. Grab a burger at Port of Call, take a stroll at night through Jackson Square, and do a ghost tour =)
yay! How exciting:)I bet you will have a blast:)
