Pumpkinpalooza

If you haven't been able to tell already - I love all things pumpkin. And since the flavor disappears as quickly as it materializes, I usually try and enjoy all the pumpkin-y things before they retire with the change of season.

This includes:
1. pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks
2. pumpkin bagels + pumpkin cream cheese from Noah's Bagels
2. pumpkin cupcakes w/cream cheese frosting a la Real Simple
4. pumpkin pancake & waffle mix from Trader Joes
5. curried pumpkin soup from Whole Foods

Now - here's where you come in. What pumpkin things am I missing or have I not yet discovered? Please enlighten me because pumpkin season runs out!

  2. Pumpkin cookies. Simply take sugar cookie dry mix and prepare according to instructions (but with a little less butter) and add half a can of pumpkin filling. A drizzle of maple syrup has the cookies super moist and cake-like.

  3. Loving your blog - and thank you so much for your comment on mine!

Halloween is not so big in England as it is in the US but, having read about them so much on various blogs, I went along to my local Starbucks to buy a pumpkin latte....they had none! Very disappointing!

  5. Pumpkin Smash smoothies from Jamba Juice!

I had always stayed away from Jamba Juice because of the calorie count...but these pumpkin-pies-in-a-cup are AMAZING.

  7. I share your love for pumpkins!

    Pumpkin pies!!

And in Korea, they had this traditional soup-like "porridge", and my favourite flavour was pumpkin.

  8. My not-so-secret recipe for pumpkin muffins/cake:

1 box cake mix (any flavor, though I like yellow or chocolate)
    1/2 cup water
1 small (15 oz) can pumpkin
    chocolate chips (optional)

mix ingredients together, put into desired cake pan and bake, at 350, for however long the cake mix box tells you to. for mini-muffins, check 'em at about 15 min.

you can add mini chocolate chips...if I'm making a 13x9" cake, I'll usually add regular chocolate chips to the top about halfway through cooking.

pretty healthy, since you're not using the eggs or oil from the cake mix, and super easy!

    enjoy!
