Happy Friday. It is feeling like fall here in Seattle...actually a little more like winter. Gone are our Indian summer days and returned are the sad gray clouds and pitter-pat of raindrops. I'm excited to bring out my sweaters and scarves but a little wistful at our Indian Summer's rapid exit. Anyone feeling the same way in their neck of the woods?
Whatever your weather, have a cozy fall weekend!

Autumn (or rather, winter) creeped up on us! One day I was wearing wearing sandals and a t-shirt, and suddenly I'm wearing mittens and a scarf!
ReplyDeleteHave a cozy weekend, and good luck settling in your new home!
Spring is not willing to come here either. the day is grey and cold. longing for summer days too! xo
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year! Plus, my baby girl has cute winter clothes I've been so excited to have her wear!!
ReplyDelete:-) i love fall season! portland feels perfectly fall right now. not too soggy yet, but sunshine next week? the indian summer strikes back.
ReplyDeleteAnd about your comment... ovens in Asia are very uncommon, people don't usually use them to cook. They don't bake like we do, so it's very unusual. It makes me sad, but I'll have to be creative!!
ReplyDeleteIt's not quite winter in Berkeley. In fact, it's barely fall. It gets dark earlier, of course, but it's still sunny and pretty warm out. That's California for you!
ReplyDeleteIt is breezy and cool here, too. I love it! That photo is so, so pretty. I can't wait till the leaves start changing in New York;)
ReplyDeleteIt's the same way here in RI... and at first I died to see summer go, but now I'm ready to let it go. Maybe cuz I know I'm getting one more shot to romp on the beach a week from tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteAfter that, it's sweaters, boots and scarves for me!

We're up in Victoria, not too far from Seattle. The weather was glorious, and then all of a sudden, I'm freezing to death! Time to light a fire in the woodstove and get cozy...
ReplyDeleteI feel the same! We went from about 100 degrees to 60 in about two days. It's a shock to the system! I'm hoping it will warm up to about 75. That will be perfect. We could use some of your rain though!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely with you! Fall is so charming, but it's difficult to feel like summer slipped away so quickly. But, bring on the scarves!! :)
ReplyDeleteit is starting to feel like fall here in the L.A. area too. so glad about it! I just came back from Victoria, B.C. where it felt so much like fall and I actually had to wear a coat so I am wanting that here at home too.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Snow in October? Not loving it at all. Haven't even had a chance to go pumpkin picking and am crossing my fingers that we'll have one last beautiful autumn weekend ASAP! :)
