Mmm, don't these look amazing? From Bakerella, the people who brought you cheesecake pops, now comes pie pops! This would make a sweet little favor at a shower or birthday party. I come from a pie-baking family, I've had many a birthday-pie in lieu of the traditional birthday cake in my 26 years.
My absolute fave (aside from my grandma/mom's apple) is strawberry rhubarb. Are you pie fans? If so what's your favorite kind?

We're a pie family too! Lemon meringue for me (which wouldn't translate well into a lollipop, sadly).
ReplyDeleteI'm the pie maker in my family. I love to make cherry and apple pie from scratch. I use the fruit right of the trees in our backyard. I play with different crusts for fun and of course I have my own tried and true standby. Love the idea of lollipops, what will people think of next? Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteWow, those pie-pops look like fun. Thanks for sharing! My husband is "The Pie Guy" here in Tehachapi, California and he used to make "pie in a cup" (a big ceramic latte cup). The heart shaped pie-ettes would be great for valentines day.
