It's amazing to me how interchangeable the relationships are on this show. After last night's episode, I'm convinced "Gossip Girl" should be renamed "boyfriend-girlfriend swap," or something to that effect. It goes something like this...
He's with me, oh wait...
(Terrible break-up)
Now, he's with you..
Drama ensues...
Wait a minute, he's with her?
Gossip, gossip, profanity, gossip
(Kiss and make-up)
Back together,
I can't believe he did that,
Yep, once again, back with you
Wait, wait, okay, caught up now...
Not that I don't enjoy the drama, just observing...

hahaha =) i am observing the same things as well from that show. i do wonder though, does it happen in real life..? wouldn't it be so awkward..?

were you totally shocked by the chemistry between Vanessa and Chuck? I was! I know they date in real life but I wasn't expecting it! And for the first time in a long time, Nate didn't annoy me last night. Jenny on the other hand......yikes.
ReplyDeleteAll shows fall prey to this tactic, which I find super annoying. Think of Dawson's Creek, Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210 ... the only show I love that never did this was Sex and the City. Thank god!
ReplyDeleteI think the writer ran out of ideas... so he/she decided to change the characters' personalities. I don't like Gossip Girl's storyline anymore, I watch it more for the fashion part. :)
ReplyDeletei completely agree and i fully support blair going after dan when she has her next crisis!!! LOL
