ReplyDeletei've been to paris twice but both times with my parents (when i was quite young), so is really looking forward to go with someone special, especially in the summer, that'd be perfect!
I was lucky enough to get away to Paris with my boy in the middle of January, and it really is all the cliches that Paris is meant to be. We walked hand in hand at duck along the Sienne, picked up breakfast pastries at the boulangerie beside our hotel, bought some sketches from an artist on the bridge near the Lourve.
ReplyDeleteBut we never got any photos of the two of us together. Not one. We were overwhelmed with the magic of Paris and sort of forgot.
The photo reminds me of what we forgot to do but it really is a fantastic image. I love it!

ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to visit Paris (last Summer) with my boy & it is so romantic.
The highlight: Laying under the Eiffel Tower on the grass; with wine, cheese and bread, watching the tower twinkle.
Boy do I ever want to go back.
If all goes according to plan, I'll be heading to Paris with le boy next year. Cannot wait!
