I read that McCarthy book several years ago, and there are scenes from it so vividly written I still cannot shake the physical feelings they give me. I just finished a few months ago his happy little tome "The Road." It is not for the faint of heart. . .
I just noticed your blog this evening (someone who visited your site also visited mine) and love your photos and commentary. I wish I could get to the opening of the "Gates" this weekend. . .maybe Sunday afternoon if I'm lucky.
