Meet My New Friend
I got one! This is my new cat, isn't she cute?? I went to a cat rescue center today and fell in love with her coloring. She's mostly white with gray tabby splashes all over her and a tabby tail.
I've got plenty of family members weighing in on what I should name her. Right now the front runner is Jenga. Others I've considered are Luna, Sprout, Phoebe...among others. Any great names you'd like to share with me?
Jenga seems like a good name for her--you'll have to let us know what you decide. When my fiancee got our cat, it took him a couple weeks before he settled on a name.
She's gorgeous! I'm partial to Luna, but maybe that's because it's so close to my cat's name, Lucy (named after my husband, Bruce, who's nickname is Lucy--I swear his mother was praying for a girl!) Our LuLu was a rescue, too, and I can't imagine life without her.. Whatever you name her, congrats on the new addition to your family and have a wonderful new year!
what a pretty kitty!! congrats on your new friend... well, really, new family member! :) it took me and my boyfriend awhile to settle on the perfect name for our little pooch but after a few days and trying many names we finally found the one that just sounded right. so I'm sure you'll pick a great one too!
nothing beats the welcoming 'miaowww' of pussy cat when you walk through the door. Our 3 are 7 but still come running every time - often before our key even reaches the lock. You've a friend for life there. Welcome to the wonderful world of being a cat mum :o)
Love your new kitty cat!! Thanks for your comment!
